Oyo Govt To Redevelop Podo Business Complex

 

The Oyo State Government has revealed plans to redevelop the Podo Business Complex in Ibadan.

This move, according to the Commissioner for Trade, Industry, Investment and Cooperatives, Adebiyi Adebisi, is expected to boost trade and commerce in the state.

Honourable Adebisi who said this on Friday in Ibadan, added that the project will provide modern infrastructure, enhancing the business environment and attracting investments to Ibadan.

He added that this aligns with Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration’s commitment to economic development through similar projects.

Adeniyi Adebisi stated that the Oyo State Government has already demonstrated its proactive approach to creating conducive environments for businesses through projects like the revamp of the Bola Ige International Business Complex.

He added that the redevelopment of Podo Business Complex promises numerous benefits for traders, entrepreneurs, and the state at large. Key benefits include improved infrastructure, enhanced economic growth, and a visually appealing hub attracting customers and investors.

He emphasized that the project will attract local and foreign investments, generate increased revenue for the state, ensuring enhanced security measures.

Adeniyi added that the project will create employment opportunities during construction and after completion, and stimulate economic activity.

The Commissioner added that these benefits will have a positive impact on the local economy and community.

Honourable Adebisi said that the redevelopment of Podo Business Complex marks a significant step towards transforming Ibadan into a thriving economic center.

With the project’s expected completion, Oyo State is poised for increased economic growth and development, solidifying its position as a hub for commerce and industry.
