IDF appeals to Gov. Abiodun on provision of maternity Centre,roads, security in Igbokofi

In order to ensure more meaningful living standard for people of Igbokofi in Yewa North Local Government area of Ogun State, Igbokofi Development Forum has appealed to Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun to provide infrastructure and other essential amenities to the town.
In a letter of appeal, send to Africa News Broadcast, IDF, earnestly appealed to Gov.Abiodun for the construction of Ijaale/ ijoun Igbokofi road and Maternity centers as about nine towns have none, provisions of security to protect lives and property of Nigerians living in lgbokofi and environs.

The letter reads in full;

Oke-Mosan,Abeokuta,Ogun State. Dear sir, CONSTRUCTION OF IJAALE/IJOUN IGBOKOFI ROAD

Most importantly,Igbokofi and her environs with Nine pooling Booths and approximately
Ten thousand electorates comprises of the following town;Idigbo,Asaga,Bode,OkeEyo,Omilende,Owode,Ipinle,Oke-ola,Orisada,Ogunba-AyetoroandOke-odoibore.None of these
towns is having maternity centers,the absence of maternity centers in this towns has resulted
insignificant loss of lives,particularly among women during child birth who are forced to seek
medical attention at distant hospitals in Ijoun or Ayetoro,often with devastating consequences,However,this communities is a significant force to be reckoned with. It is more imperative that
Ogun State Government to prioritize our need and construct this critical road and extend other
Consistently,the deplorable condition of the Ijale/Ijoun Igbokofi road has stifled economic
growth,compromised security,and threatened Nigeria’s territorialintegrity.Infact,Igbokofi and
the neighboring towns has been subjected to the humiliation of border Incursions by the
Republic of Benins Policeforce.Pastandpresenttheyhavebrazenlyenteredoursoil,arresting
our citizens without so much as a whisper of resistance and before we can even cry out for help,the situation he’s sprawled in to chaos leaving devastating in itis wake our sovereignty is being
trampled,our people are suffering,and yet it seems noone is listening only because of poor
access road.
We are compelled to bring to your attention a pressing matter that requires urgent
intervention because Igbokofi community is a vitalconstituency in Ogun West Senatorial
District,has been neglected and abandoned for toolong.Igbokofi community has Nine pooling
Booths of nothing less than Ten thousand eligible voters that largely comprises women.Despite
our unwavering loyalty and support to the government of Ogun State,we have been denied of
Ijaale /Ijoun Igbokofi Road and other basic infrastructure we deserve.
