Idris Oderinde has been awarded as the Ogun NUJ Photojournalist of the Year Award.

One of the reporters of Newslife online, Idris Oderinde has been awarded as the Ogun NUJ Photojournalist of the Year Award.

Oderinde, who most times combined the reportorial beats with photo shots, emerged as the award – winner at the Grand finale/ Dinner and Awards nite of the Ogun NUJ 2024 Press Week held on Friday at the PMB Telemedicine Hall,FMC, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital.

Oderinde was honoured for his ability to combine reportorial assignments with skills and creativity of taking timely, composed pictures that depict stories and as well give attention to details.

The 2024 photojournalist of the year in an interview with OGTV reporter commended the Professional Awards committee for the painstaking job. He added that he is ever ready to learn,unlearn, relearn and strive for continuous improvement in the reportorial and photojournalism spaces .
