ACP Aderemi Yusuf, resume office as the new Commandant of the Police Training School Iperu-Remo, Ogun State.
The Ogun State Police Command is pleased to announce the appointment of ACP Aderemi Yusuf, psc, as the new Commandant of the Police Training School (PTS), Iperu-Remo, Ogun State.
ACP Aderemi Yusuf, a seasoned officer with a distinguished career in the Nigeria Police Force, holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree with honours from Bayero University, Kano, and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Economics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is also a member of esteemed professional bodies, including the Institute of Local Government Administration and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of Nigeria.
With extensive experience in policing, ACP Aderemi Yusuf has attended several advanced courses, including the Tactical Leadership and Command Course in Jos and Community Policing Training, further strengthening his capacity for effective leadership and law enforcement strategies.
He has served in various police formations in different capacities, including:
• Ogun State Command: Patrol and Guard Officer, Adatan Division; District Officer, Igbogila; Divisional Traffic Officer, Ifo Division; Divisional Crime Officer, Sagamu Division; Second-in-Command to the Area Commander, Ijebu Ode; Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Ado Odo.
• Zone II, Lagos: Monitoring Unit.
• Oyo State Command: Divisional Crime Officer, Moniya; DPO Igboho, DPO Sanyo, Officer-in-Charge, Anti-Vice; Officer-in-Charge, Anti-Robbery; DPO Orilemo, DPO Okinapa, and DPO Komu.
As the new Commandant of PTS Iperu-Remo, ACP Aderemi Yusuf brings intellectual depth, professional passion, and dynamic leadership to the institution. His vision aligns with the Inspector General of Police’s commitment to enhancing police training, capacity development, and professionalism. He is expected to coordinate training programs effectively and improve the overall operational efficiency of the school.
