CUSTOMS AREA CONTROLLER MOURNS THE PASSING OF THE ONIPOKIA OF IPOKIA KINGDOM

The Customs Area Controller, Ogun I Area Command, Deputy Comptroller OO Afeni, on behalf of the management and entire officers of the Command, expresses deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences over the transition of the Onipokia of Ipokia Kingdom, Oba Yisa Olaniyan, Adelakun.
The late revered monarch was a pillar of peace, a custodian of rich cultural heritage, and a champion of communal harmony. Throughout his purposeful reign, he demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the development of the Ipokia kingdom and Ogun State at large.
Reflecting on the loss, Deputy Comptroller Afeni stated that we have lost a father, a wise counselor and a critical stakeholder in our efforts to maintain border security and economic stability in the region. His Royal Majesty was highly instrumental in fostering mutual understanding and synergy between the Nigeria Customs Service and the wonderful people of Ipokia. His departure leaves a massive void that will be difficult to fill.
The Command extends its deepest sympathies to the immediate royal family, the Ipokia Traditional Council, and
the entire law abiding citizens of Ipokia Kingdom.
We pray that the Almighty grants the royal family and the people of Ipokia the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss, and may the soul of the departed monarch rest in perfect peace.
