The Ogun State Military, Police and Paramilitary Public Relations Officers’ Forum (MILPOPROOF) paid a courtesy visit to the State Commander, Cmdr. (Dr.) Soji Ganzallo, FCAI, FIIM, fisn at his office in Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The meeting which has in attendance, the public relations officers from most of the security agencies in the state and the management team of the host, took place on July 27, 2026 at about 4pm.
The Director of Information and Public Relations, ACC Adegunwa Adegbuyi, while eulogizing and introducing the State Commander and his team to the guests, noted that the Commander, who was the pioneer image make of the corps and has been awarded both internationally and within the country, is a man of many parts.
The chairman, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, on his part, appreciated the State Commander for the honour given the forum for his attention. He explained that the same synergy that exists at the Service Commanders’ level is passed down to the forum hence, the collaboration. He informed the Commander that Director of Information and Public Relations of his agency ACC Adegunwa Adegbuyi who is the secretary of the forum has been a helpful figure in the achievements recorded so far in MILPOPROOF.
The State Commander, while welcoming the officers, remarked that security is not the job of one security agency. He said, successes can only be achieved if all security agencies and by extension, residents come to the knowledge it is a collective responsibility.
He stated that, on several occasions, arrests has been made and crimes has been averted due to collaboration and information and knowledge sharing among the agencies in Ogun State.
Furthermore, he echoed the significance of every Public Relations Officers of all agencies as they are the major determinant of how the citizens defines their organizations. He added that, as the image maker they should be above board both with and outside their respective agency. He commended the forum that all these good attributes has been observed in its members.
The Commander emphasized the importance of consistency and loyalty especially in this profession. He encouraged his guest to be diligent as this is a pivotal of progression in this career.
Among the security agencies represented in the meeting were; NPF, FRSC, NSCDC, Correctional Service, Federal Fire Service, NDLEA, State Fire Service, TRACE, Amotekun and the host, So-Safe Corps.
