SG HASSAN FITNESS HUB COMMISSIONED FOLLOWING INTER‑AGENCY GAMES IN KADUNA COMMAND
SG Hassan Fitness Hub was officially commissioned on Thursday 23th July 2026 immediately after an Inter‑Agency Games held at the Kaduna Command, in an event that showcased fitness, teamwork and inter‑agency collaboration among Officers and Men of the Command.
The sporting programme featured football, basketball, volleyball and badminton, and attracted participation from sister security agencies including the Nigeria Police Force, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Nigerian Army and Nigeria Immigration Service.
The Inter‑Agency Games provided a platform for participants to strengthen camaraderie, foster healthy competition and reinforce unity among security agencies operating in Kaduna State. The commissioning of SG Hassan Fitness Hub served as a tangible extension of the day’s message that” physical fitness is central to operational readiness, discipline, work–life balance and overall wellbeing” .
In his remarks, the Kaduna Area Controller, Comptroller Sa’ad Hassan, stated that the Fitness Hub was established to encourage regular exercise, recreation and healthy living among Officers and Men of the Command and other agencies. He noted that the facility will help sustain the gains of inter‑agency sporting engagements by providing a dedicated venue for training and related activities.
Representatives of the Police, NDLEA, Army and Immigration Service commended the initiative, describing it as timely and beneficial. They affirmed that such engagements not only enhance physical conditioning but also deepen trust, mutual respect and collaboration among security agencies.
The commissioning ceremony concluded on a positive note, with participants expressing appreciation for the opportunity to blend sports, fellowship and the formal unveiling of a facility that promotes fitness, community engagement and Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR).
