SO-SAFE CORPS FELICITATES WITH MUSLIM FAITHFULS, ASSURES OF HITCH FREE SEASON
The Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps, codenamed, So-Safe Corps, in commemorate of the Eid al-Ahda has assured Ogun residents of hitch free celebration.
This is according to the statement by the State Commander, (Dr.) Soji Ganzallo, and made available to the media by the Director of Information and Public Relations, ACC Adegunwa Adegbuyi.
Ganzallo, in his expression stated everyone , especially the Muslim faithfuls, should celebrate with utmost care and caution. He noted that Eid al-Adha is one of the most celebrated calendar throughout the world and it is expected that influx of crowd in all nooks and crannies of the state is inevitable. “People should be at alert, observant and careful in a crowded area as some individuals in the crowd has ulterior motive,” he said.
The State Commander stated that residents should endeavour that their house are properly locked before embarking on any journey; be at peace with neighbours because they’re always the first responders in time of assistance.
Furthermore, he advised travellers to be defensive in their driving. According to him, he explained that while driving on the highway, drivers should always be conscious of other road users. Also, he advised against late night journey, overspeeding and overloading. By extension, he said drivers should endeavour that their vehicles are in good conditions and road worthy.
On the part of the Corps, Ganzallo assured that operatives has been stationed in all strategic locations and especially areas that has been tagged as black spots. In his words, “both uniform and plain clothe operatives are on strict instruction to ensure hitch free celebration.”
Finally, Ganzallo, while rejoicing with all officers and men of the Corps, prayed that God would bless this celebration with joy, love, and fulfillment.
