ILARO POLY SRC VISITS AYELAGBE, SEEKS CONTINUOS SUPPORT FOR THE STUDENT LEADERSHIP

In continuation of our drive to inspire younger generation for productive endeavor, earlier in the week, I granted an audience to the Principal officers of the Federal Polytechnic Ilaro Student Representative Council (SRC) on a courtesy visit.

In her remarks, the Speaker of the SRC, Rt. Hon. Bamigboye Elizabeth O. expressed gratitude for the support the house and students constituency have received over the years and sought continued guidance, training, and assistance in resolving some of the challenges faced by the student constituency.

In my response, I appreciated the Student leadership for the visit and admonished them that leadership is not about titles, but about impacts. I emphasized that as student leaders, they have a unique opportunity to shape the experiences of their peers and contribute to the growth of our lofty citadel of learning which prides itself as ‘the most sought after Polytechnic in in West Africa’. While assuring them of my continuous support to the house and the constituency, I encouraged them to prioritize the needs of their fellow students, exhibit the best of character to everybody that comes their way as that will ultimately become a social network they may benefit from in the future.

I was joined by the Supervisor for Information, Education, and Sports, Hon. Sauban Seidu to receive the delegation which includes the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Okolie Favour Chisom, the
Clerk, Hon. Obani-Jesu Victor Adekunle, Chief Whip, Hon. Akintola Azeem Opeyemi, Mace Bearer, Hon. Olalude Idris Alao Alao
