The Senior Special Adviser to Governor Dapo Abiodun on political matters, Hon. Jide Ojuko has rejoiced with the National Leader of All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Olusegun Osoba on his 85th birthday celebration.
The former Commissioner in his congratulatory message personally signed by him and made available to news men in Abeokuta praised the former Governor for his doggedness, forthrightness, generosity and diligence.
He commended Chief Olusegun Osoba for his visionary leadership style towards the development of Ogun State and Nigeria at large.
Ojuko submitted that Osoba’s patriotism and commitment to democracy and good governance, and his generous spirit will always be rembered and appreciated by generations of Nigerians.
“I am so happy to celebrate with my close political father and mentor, the former Governor of Ogun State and the National Leader of our great party, APC, Chief Olusegun Osoba on his 85th birthday anniversary. Chief Olusegun Osoba and i have been together for years, we started his first political ambition together as the first time Governor, his second term governorship slot we worked together and when we were in SDP back then, we worked together to build the party. Chief Olusegun Osoba also gave me an appointment to serve in Odua Group and i also served as his commissioner for Commerce, Cooperatives and Tourism respectively under Alliance For Democracy, AD. Baba Osoba had been so good to me. Chief Olusegun played major role in the actualization of Democracy, we are enjoying now and since then we still maintain cordial relationship. He is a political leader per excellence, he has proven to be leader for all. I want appreciate him for his support and fatherly role in which has changed paved ways for me”.
He prayed that the Almighty God will grant Chief Olusegun Osoba long life, good health, wisdom and prosperity as he steadfastly supports efforts to promote the development of Nigeria.
