Governor Biodun Oyebanji promise non-indigenes across Ekiti State dividend of Democracy

Governor Biodun Oyebanji has not only maintained a cordial relationship with non-indigenous groups in Ekiti State but has consistently prioritized their welfare. Often times they affirm that they have enjoyed a great level of inclusiveness under Governor Oyebanji led administration .
Beyond giving them a sense of belonging in governance, Mr. Governor and his wife, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji, ensure that government benefits are equally distributed, fostering inclusivity, equal access, and collective growth.
In return, non-indigenes across the state have shown overwhelming support for the governor, bestowing various titles upon him as a mark of appreciation for his good works.
This afternoon, as part of activities marking their end-of-year celebration, the Idoma community leaders from the 16 local governments in Ekiti State held a special traditional prayer and kola-nut-breaking session , during which they endorsed and declared their total support for Governor Oyebanji’s second-term.
Led by their traditional leader, Oyiocho Ochiodoma, HRH Oyigocho Otache, the Idoma community didn’t just endorse the governor but emphasized that their endorsement, rooted in their cultural rites, is binding on all its members, a decision blessed by their gods.
The group expressed profound gratitude to Mr. Governor for his unrelenting support and gestures of kindness toward them. They particularly lauded his consistent touchpoints with them through the Office of Community Communications, which they said has significantly strengthened the bond between their community and the current administration.
In response, the Director-General of the Office of Community Communications, Mrs. Mary Oso-Omotosho, appreciated the Idoma community for their constant support and open endorsement of Governor Oyebanji.
Mrs. Omotosho, who also attended last year’s edition of the ceremony, observed that this year’s event was far bigger, with all heads of ethnic groups in the state present. She said this reflects the governor’s commitment to fostering peace and unity among all residents of Ekiti.
She urged the Idoma community to sustain their support for Governor Oyebanji, assuring them that the benefits they’ve enjoyed so far are just a fraction of what lies ahead under his transformative leadership.
