The operatives of the Ogun State Police Command, attached to Oja-Odan division in Yewa North Local Government Area of the state have arrested a 41-year-old father for defiling his 12-year-old daughter.
The police Command spokesperson, SP Omolola Odutola, who Confirm his arrest said, “on 10th of October, 2024 at about 1410hrs, one Egbebi Temitope (f) of Papa Olosun area of Oja-Odan reported an immoral behaviour of her estranged husband, one Aliu Ibrahim (m) 41-yr-old of same address was discovered to have been having unlawful carnal knowledge of their 12-yr-old daughter, (name withheld) and defiled her since two years ago each time the innocent girl went to spend holiday with him”.
Odutola stated futher that, the complaint further stated that, the sexual assault was discovered when she took the girl to State hospital, Ilaro for examinations and treatment over untreated vaginal discharge that has been occurring in the little child reproductive organs for an unknown period.
“The pedophilia father who has been alleged for an animalistic affirnity have been arrested by the DPO, Oja-Odan, confessed to the crime.
“Preliminary investigation is on-going by the Human Rights section of Oja-Odan Division, after which the suspect will be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Elewe-Eran for further investigation”.
