10th coronation anniversary: Isikalu greets Onimeko of Imeko, hails his steadfastness, courage, leadership
Hon. Isikalu Abidemi Olalekan has congratulated the Onimeko of Imeko Land , HRM. Oba Benjamin Oyeditan Olanite (Akanku IV), Onimeko of Imeko Kingdom on the celebration of his 10th coronation anniversary.
Abidemi in a statement on Sunday described the monarch’s 10th-year on the throne of his forebears as a wonderful turnaround for Imeko Land and Ogun West in general.
He noted that since Oba Benjamin ascended the throne, his domain had witnessed economic and socio-cultural development courtesy the monarch’s open door policy, wisdom, perseverance and exemplary leadership.
Olalekan, who eulogized Benjamin’s steadfastness and courage to speak truth to power, said the Oba has brought his exposure, experience and service to bare on the throne, which according to him has made the monarch one of the best and most respected in the Yewa North/ Imeko Afon federal Constituency, the state and the country at large.
Hon. Isikalu noted that apart from being a Royal Father, his political stance and unbiased viewpoints on issues, have indeed endeared him to many people within and outside Yewa North/ lmeko Afon federal Constituency .
Hon. Isikalu Olalekan Abidemi, while saying the 10th coronation anniversary of Oba Benjamin calls for celebration, prayed the monarch lives long on the throne of his forefathers in order to be able influence more development to Yewa North /Imeko Afon federal Constituency and Yewaland and Nigeria as a whole.
