Encomiums as Ogun Ex lawmaker Bags PHD In Geography

The Federal Commissioner representing Ogun state in the National Population Commission, Otunba Fasuwa Abayomi Johnson, popularly known as Yomi Faj has achieved a significant academic milestone by earning a PHD in Geography with special focus on Climate Change and River Basins management from Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun , Ogun State.
The former lawmaker who represented Ijebu North East State Constituency in the Ogun State Assembly between 2019 and 2023 earned the doctorate degree during the institution’s convocation ceremony which took place on Thursday, 28th November, 2024 in the school auditorium.
The former lawmaker while speaking with newsmen after earning the PHD expressed gratitude to Tai Solarin University of Education for their support throughout his doctoral journey
Reflecting on her achievement, Yomi Faj expressed gratitude to her supervisors and loved ones for their guidance and unwavering support.
He promised to commit the achievement to mentoring interested individuals seeking a career in Geography.
Hon. Fasuwa Johnson graduated from Ogun state University as the best student of the department of Geography and Regional Planning in 1998. He bagged two masters, MSC Geography and MBA from University of Ibadan and Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomosho respectively.
He is an astute Politician, academia, Marketer and Environmentalist who is well rooted in grassroot development.
He is the Otunba Apesin of Ilugun South and Apesin of Igbeba land
