CONDOLENCE
I join many others in mourning the passing of a pillar of the Ijaka community in Yewa North Local Government Area, Chief Thompson Akande Fagbohun.
Baba Fagbohun was a consummate community leader and elder who provided guidance and support to numerous individuals in his immediate community and beyond. His love for his birthplace was inspiring. It is noteworthy that his support for our cause stemmed from his vision for a better and more prosperous Yewaland.
On behalf of my family and the Federal Constituency, I offer heartfelt condolences to the entire Fagbohun family, particularly his wife, Mrs. Ganiyat Fagbohun. Without a doubt, this loss is immeasurable, but so too is the legacy Baba leaves behind.
In this time of grief, I believe finding comfort in memories of a loving husband, a caring father and grandfather, and an exemplary community leader who gave his all to his family and community will provide much-needed solace.
May Baba Ibuowo’s soul rest in perfect peace.
