Governor Dapo Abiodun Joins APC Leaders at Inauguration of National Campaign Council for Ekiti Governorship Election
Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, on Wednesday joined top leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the inauguration of the party’s National Campaign Council for the forthcoming Ekiti State Governorship Election.
The event, which held at the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja, brought together party leaders from across the federation to strategize and reaffirm their commitment to ensuring victory for the APC in the election.
Governor Abiodun noted that the inauguration of the campaign council represents a significant step in the party’s efforts to consolidate the achievements of progressive governance and strengthen its electoral fortunes in Ekiti State.
He expressed confidence in the leadership of Ekiti State Governor, H.E Biodun Oyebanji, describing him as a dedicated and performing governor whose administration has continued to deliver meaningful development and improved living standards for the people of the state.
The Ogun State Governor also commended the APC National Working Committee for putting in place a coordinated campaign structure aimed at mobilizing support and ensuring a successful outing for the party at the polls.
According to him, the gathering provided an avenue for party leaders to align strategies, deepen collaboration, and reaffirm their collective commitment to the ideals of good governance, democratic consolidation, and sustainable development.
Governor Abiodun stated that the APC remains focused on advancing policies and programmes that improve the welfare of Nigerians, expressing optimism that the party would secure victory in the Ekiti governorship election through the support of the people and its proven record of performance.
He reiterated that the party’s leaders and members would continue to work together to strengthen the APC and promote peace, stability, and prosperity across the country.
