International Youth Day 2024 : Isikalu Assures Yewa North/Imeko Afon federal Constituency Youths Of Brighter Future
Hon.Isikalu Olalekan,celebrated Yewa North/Imeko Afon federal Constituency,Ogun State and Nigeria’s youths for their creative prowess and indomitable spirit.
In his message to mark this year’s International Youth Day celebrated every August 12, Olalekan extolled the youth’s creative zeal and agency to drive digital adoption, trends, and innovation in Yewa North Imeko Afon federal Constituency, Ogun State and Nigeria.
Hon. Isikalu Abidemi Olalekan also thanks Yewa / North Imeko Afon youths for not Participating in #End bad government protest that some Youth organized in Nigeria .
“Though,Sometimes people are telling government their needs through protest, but I thank our youth for obeying our leaders and traditional rulers’ advice for not joining the protest and make room for dialogue, which they did so by not participating in the protest.
Isikalu said doing this showed that Yewa North Imeko Afon youths know what they are doing and they have vision for themselves.
” I thank our Youth for obeying our Political leaders, our traditional rulers that want progress for our Constituency.”
“I want my people to know that this time is the time that dividends of democracy have come to Yewa North Imeko Afon federal Constituency than before. Please don’t allow anyone to draw us back.
“Now that those representing us at Senate and House of Representatives in Abuja are fulfilling the promises they made during campaign by bringing dividends of democracy to us than before. I, Isikalu Olalekan promise that this dividends of democracy we are seeing now is the smallest in what we will be enjoyed after 2027 elections.
” We can see that what happened in some states during the protest are not good
because the protesters destroyed government properties which they built for their own benefit. This showed that the best way to ask something from government is through dialogue not protest.he said.
Once again, I thank Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adéola Yayi who represents Ogun West in the Senate and Honorable Gboyega Nasir Isiaka who also represents Yewa North Imeko Afon federal Constituency in House of Representatives for fulfilling their promises by doing their best to make sure dividends of democracy come to Ogun West and Yewa North Imeko Afon federal Constituency.
Hon.Isikalu also expressed gratitude to the political leaders, Youths leaders and Traditional rulers,most especially Oba Kehinde Olugbenle The Paramount ruler of Yewa land and all Obas, in Yewa North Imeko Afon federal Constituency for making peace and unity in the areas strong than before.
