Isikalu Olalekan mourns Ganiyu Olukunle the Asale of Isale Gbokoto, describes his passage as shocking

Hon. Isikalu Olalekan Abidemi has described the passing of the traditional ruler of Isale Gbokoto ketu, in Ketu South , Yewa North, Ogun State, HRM, Oba Ganiyu Olukunle the Asale of Isale Gbokoto, as a shocking and great loss to the entire Yewa North/ lmeko Afon federal Constituency, Ogun State and the country in general.
The disclosure came, even as the lsale Traditional Council formally announced the demise of the late Kabiesi on Tuesday 13th August 2024, in Isale , Ogun State.
“With heavy heart but appreciation for purposeful life and reign, we announce the joining of ancestors of our ROYAL MAJESTY OBA G.A OLUKUNLE THE ASALE OF GBOKOTO ISALE KETU who peacefully join the ancestors on 12th Aug 2024 at ripe age of 77 . Traditional rites has commenced and it is on . People should be mindful of their movement around the axis . Thanks AREMO ỌLÁYỌDÉ WILLIAMS for council of chiefs Gbokoto Isale Ketu Ogun State Nigeria.”
Isikalu, while reacting to the demise of HRM Oba Ganiyu Olukunle, said the news of Oba Ganiyu was shocking, to the people of Isale Gbokoto and the entire Yewa North Imeko Afon federal Constituency.
Abidemi said the people of lsale Gbokoto, Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole would miss him for his resourcefulness and promotion of cultural heritage of his homestead. This is the time we need him, but we can query God.
Late Oba Ganiyu is survived by wife, children and grandchildren.
