Mrs Oluwatoyin Amore wishing all Muslims happy Eid Mubarak

Mrs Oluwatosin Amore Adeyinka a radio presenter’s of (MULERO Leto wa on Sweet FM 107.1 says that the act of a radio presenter wishing “Muslims Eid Mubarak” is a common and respectful gesture during the Islamic holiday of Eid. “Eid Mubarak” translates to “Blessed Eid” and is a traditional greeting exchanged by Muslims worldwide during the celebrations of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.

MULERO said that Eid al-Fitr, also known as the “Festival of Breaking the Fast,” marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. It is a joyous occasion where Muslims come together to pray, feast, and celebrate with their families and communities. Wishing someone “Eid Mubarak” during this time is a way to extend well wishes and blessings for a happy and prosperous holiday.

Eid al-Adha, or the “Festival of Sacrifice,” commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God. This festival involves acts of charity, prayer, and the sacrifice of an animal, with the meat distributed among family, friends, and those in need. During Eid al-Adha, exchanging greetings like “Eid Mubarak” is a customary practice to share in the spirit of unity and goodwill.
