Crack operatives of the Tax Force on Land matter in Ogun State , in the early hours of today, arrested a notorious land-grabber, Mr Ogundipe Sunday aka Ayooba allegedly terrorising Oguntedo community in Ilaro Yewa South Local Government Area of the state.
A source informed our corespondent that Ogundipe Sunday was arrested at about 1. 02pm at his residence at Ilaro after he ignored the invitations of Tax Force that base on Land issue in Ogun State, following a petition written by Mr Banjo Oluwaseun Olaitan of Oguntedo Ona-Egbo Ilaro Ogun State.
The source said the petition contained an allegation that Mr Ogundipe Sunday, aka Ayooba was responsible for the Threatening of life and property damages of Mr Banjo Oluwaseun.
According to the source, “On two occasions, the said Mr Ogundipe Sunday aka Ayooba had mobilized thugs to the house of Mr Banjo Oluwaseun Olaitan threatening to kill him if he continues to work on the land .
Mr Banjo Olaitan said he did not see Mr Ayooba when he bought the land from Olaleye family .
A tactical team of the service conducted a special operation which led to Ogundipe Sunday aka Ayooba arrest after ignoring the invitation by the Tax Force.
According to the source, the suspect would be charged to Curt after toro investigation on the matter.
