Yewa Unity Cup kicks off with victory for Onijoun Fc … As Prince Adewusi charges youths to use the tourney as career booster
Prince Rasheed Adewusi popularly known as Praada has charged youths in Yewa land to take good advantage of the football tournament tagged Yewa Unity Cup 2025 to up their talent and boost their football career.
The soccer tournament which officially kicked off yesterday, Tuesday,11 of February, 2025 with preliminaries across Yewaland , kicked off
at Yewa North Local Government School, Ijoun.
He also enjoined the teams participating in tournament to play the games according to the rules, as the tournament would serve as an avenue of talents discovery and life changers for good.
The Onijoun of Ijounland , Oba Akanji Ogunji, performed the kick off. The monarch was accompanied by the Onijale of Ijale ketu, Oba Bisiriyu Oyeru and Balogun of Ijoun , Chief IsikaluJA the Bada of ljoun with other chiefs to the field.
Meanwhile, Onijoun Fc defeated Onijale Fc with two goals to nothing in the opening match.
The Yewa Youth Cup 2025 was organized by the Yewa Youth Association,YYA with YPDC as the sponsor.
