YOUTH ASSEMBLY OF NIGERIA THANKS GOVERNMENT AGENCIES FOR RESTORATION OF FUEL SUPPLY AND REOPENING OF BORDERS

The Youth Assembly of Nigeria is grateful to the Federal Government, Ogun State Government, and the Honorable Representing Yewa North/Imeko Federal Constituency, Hon. Gboyega Nasir Isiaka for taking decisive actions to restore fuel supply to border town.
This historic action, following intense negotiation and lobbying, is a significant victory for our border communities. For too long, these communities have endured the adverse effects of restricted fuel supply, which has stifled economic growth and curbed the livelihoods of our people.
The combined effort of various stakeholders, including security and customs officials, has brought this for-good change. The recent go-ahead given to many petrol stations in our neighborhoods to re-open is not only a technical adjustment; it is the revival of hope and economic livelihood for all.
We commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his commitment to listening to the voices of the people and to moving swiftly to address the plight of our border communities. We also extend our appreciation to the Nigerian Customs Service, Comptroller-General Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, for their key contributions to making this progress a reality.
As we celebrate this milestone, we invite all stakeholders, including fuel station owners and the general public, to adopt the values of accountability and compliance with the law. We must ensure that we continue to maintain this trust and ensure the sustainable growth of our areas.
This accomplishment is just the beginning of our stride towards prolonged lobbying for the interest of our people’s welfare and rights. Nigeria Youth Assembly works tirelessly day and night towards uplifting our people, that they could be heard and their requirements satisfied.
United together, we work towards the direction of the economic opportunities rising, where each of our citizens shall have the right to reach as high as he can.
