Yewa North Local Government Chairman, Dr. Olusola Akinbode,charges marketers to maintain cleaner environment
Traders and marketers around Dangote Cement Factory market have been charged to maintain a cleaner environment, ensure proper refuse disposal to promote a healthy living.
The Chairman, Yewa North Local Government, Dr. Olusola Akinbode, made the charge while paying unscheduled visit to the market, emphasising the need for traders to maintain personal and environmental hygiene, to prevent diseases in the community, while appreciating the present administration’s prompt response to curtail the spread of diseases in the state.
He lauded the present administration’s efforts at prioritising infrastructural and socio-economic development, promising to continue to collaborate with the state government towards ensuring a healthy society.
Responding, the Iyaloja and Babaloja, Chief Paul Awoyemi and Chief Mrs. Alaba Olaolu, commended the government for the visit, promising their unalloyed support to the government in all ramifications.
